In 2015, two years after taking my first Pilates class at a YMCA with far too much burrito in my belly, I became a certified Power Pilates mat instructor. I became a Balanced Body Reformer instructor a year later, and I will be fully certified on the Cadillac, Chair, Barrel, and Tower through Balanced Body University by fall of 2017. I teach mat classes and Reformer sessions at Sarah Aldrich Pilates and New Haven Pilates, instruct the dancers of BalletHaven, and I teach in-home (mine or yours) private and small group sessions in and around New Haven, Connecticut.

I’ve found Pilates to make me stronger than I’ve ever been, restorative to my back and posture, and complementary to other forms of movement (and non-movement!). Pilates is a meditative and intelligent modality for all ages, all levels of fitness, and for people with injuries and limited physical capabilities.
